Above you will find a tool to search private parking garages in each of Jersey City's neighborhoods.  If you want to park on the street in Jersey City for more than a two hour period on weekdays you will need a zone specific parking permit. 

Jersey City has instituted Zone Parking throughout residential neighborhoods to prevent non-residents from parking on JC streets and then commuting into Manhattan.  Residents must visit the Jersey City Parking Authority to obtain a parking permit for the zone in which their home is located.  Cars without permits are restricted to two hour parking Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.
